Job description

Escaping from a helicopter, surviving at sea or fighting a raging fire. We start every day full of positive energy, eager to teach everyone who participates in our training courses all there is to know about the potential dangers in the offshore industry. About us

FMTC Safety is the safety training center for Offshore training (OPITO & NOGEPA), Wind training (GWO), Maritime training (STCW), and Industry training. Every day people are prepared to work and live safely on a drilling platform or a ship.

At FMTC, flexibility is our top priority! We reduce the burden of the customer entirely in the field of training. We do this through our customer-focused services, flexibility, knowledge, and extra services in addition to our training courses.
In addition to our Dordrecht location, we also have various locations worldwide; Schiphol Amsterdam(NL), Lage Zwaluwe(NL), IJmuiden(NL), Houma (USA), Dunkirk (FR) and Ras Tanura (KSA).

What does your day as an Offshore Training Course Instructor at FMTC look like?

Every day is a new challenge. You arrive at one of our unique locations, Dordrecht, and happily, you start your day. What course is planned for today? A Sea Survival? A HUET, where the participants need to escape from a helicopter simulator while it's in the water? Or maybe something totally different. In any case, you teach all the courses in a good-natured and creative manner.

After teaching the theory, you support the participants of the course in putting the theory into practice. All courses are simulated in a realistic setting.

Job requirements

Who are we looking for?

• You have offshore / maritime experience
• You are proficient in the English language
• You are creative, stress-resistant and bring your good mood with you to work
• You are client-oriented; it gives you energy to know that the participants love your training course
